First graders had the unique opportunity to travel around the world this morning at Elementary North and learn how the holidays are celebrated in different countries. Mrs. Dzelikatnaya talked about Grandfather Frost in Russia, while Ms. Eisen showed students how the dreidel game is played in Israel. Ms. DeGrazia talked about the Las Posadas tradition in Mexico, and Mrs. Polnow spoke about the holiday card tradition in England. Students engaged in fun activities and had a great time.
