On Tuesday, Miss Wolf read “Gingerbread Baby” by Jan Brett to her kindergarten class. This is a story about a gingerbread baby who escapes out of an oven and is chased around the town by many characters. The students listened attentively, especially when it looked like a fox might catch the baby. But, the story had a happy ending; the gingerbread baby was safe. After the story, the students created their own gingerbread houses out of paper, making perfect homes for the adventurous gingerbread baby.
